Escape rooms offer a game where participants have to solve a series of puzzles to get out of a room within an hour. They’re becoming increasingly popular and can now also be found in Winterthur. But of course, with the coronavirus lockdowns, escape rooms have had to close their doors, and the new company Escapestories has been looking for alternatives.

The creatives at Escapestories got to work right away, and in no time, they had developed AdventureMail, a subscription service for mysterious puzzle fun at home. The instructions, materials and clues are sent in parcels and letters over several weeks – quite a logistical challenge, because demand was high right from the start.
