More possibilities when sending secure e-mails with the payroll accounting software “Abacus Lohnbuchhaltung 2017”

The electronic transfer of sensitive HR data has to be done in compliance with the legal framework conditions. The Federal Act on Data Protection stipulates that wage data has to be protected against unauthorised processing by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures. Abacus meets these requirements and, thanks to the cooperation with Swiss Post and its e-mail encryption service IncaMail, enables secure mails to be sent in large number directly from the payroll accounting software. With the latest update, which Abacus applied to its application from 20.05.2017, there are even more possibilities when sending secure e-mails.

Secure bulk mailing with IncaMail

In addition to the previous delivery of pay slips, wage statements and any other chosen enclosures can now also be sent from the evaluation program via IncaMail. Similar to a letter, the recipients receive an e-mail signed by Swiss Post containing the wage documents as an encrypted attachment. The recipients open this attachment whenever and wherever they want with a password directly in their usual e-mail inbox. Dispatch and receipt are documented by Swiss Post and can be verified at any time.

Any number of attachments

Accompanied by a simple and clear assistant, in the latest version of the payroll accounting software the desired e-mail template can be selected in a specific language. The templates are freely definable and can be used or modified for other mailings. Subsequently the program automatically inserts the employee addresses from the workforce and also the appropriate pay slip and other selected documents. Before definitive delivery, a preview enables every individual mail to be checked, changed or deleted. If changes are required, direct access to the dossiers of the employees is possible.

Logbook for a better overview

The serial e-mail program of the payroll accounting software Abacus Lohnbuchhaltung now also keeps a log. This saves the most important information for every delivery. The used program, the used template, the start and end time and also the number of successful and erroneously sent e-mails are clearly documented in the logbook. A search function helps to easily find entries at any time, including with a large number of e-mails.
