These days, customers are used to deciding when they want to receive their parcels. With the Saturday delivery value-added service, Swiss Post delivers your parcels on Saturdays throughout Switzerland and in the Principality of Liechtenstein.

The “Saturday delivery” value-added service is offered to business customers who have a billing relationship with Swiss Post, and works on a contract basis.

The advantages for you:

  • High first time delivery rate and happy customers because they are more likely to be at home.
  • A high level of flexibility when sending your goods thanks to the unrestricted posting time.
  • Temporary storage with PostPac Priority and Bulky goods Priority if you post your consignments before Friday. This ensures efficient use of your storage capacities.
  • If you provide your customer’s e-mail address or mobile number at the data transfer stage, the customer will automatically be notified by SMS or e-mail of the delivery scheduled for the coming Saturday.
  • Second delivery included in the price

Are you here as a private customer? With our “My consignments” online service, you can select “desired day Saturday” to receive parcels, on condition that your mail order company offers this option.

Who is this service for & preconditions

The “Saturday delivery” value-added service is intended for business customers with a billing relationship.

Combination options

You can combine Saturday delivery with the following shipping options:

Regardless of the day of posting, the delivery takes place during the course of the day on the following Saturday (except public holidays).

Electronic posting consignment data The consignment data must be transferred via DataTransfer. When using the Barcode web service (WSBC) or the “Domestic parcel labels” online service  , the transfer is automatic. Exceptions

We are unable to provide this service in Samnaun, Campione d’Italia and Büsingen. VinoLog consignments with the Saturday delivery value-added service must be handed over to us for transport on Thursdays (no storage).

Labelling

The consignments must also be labelled with the “Saturday delivery” (SA) value-added service barcode.

Liability

The liability conditions for PostPac PRIORITY, Bulky goods PRIORITY and VinoLog apply. Swiss Post accepts no liability for any damage resulting from the temporary storage (e.g. spoiled goods).

Return shipment

Unwanted or undeliverable consignments will be returned for a fee. The surcharge for the Saturday delivery value-added service is not levied again.
