Swiss Post is close to the population and SMEs and maintains a physical presence in all regions of Switzerland. The nationwide universal service comprises around 5,000 access points such as branches, terminals and the home service. Around 2,000 access points are served, of which around 600 continue to be managed as self-operated branches.

Over the next few years, Swiss Post will invest over 100 million francs in employees, in demand-led modernization of branches and in new formats with attractive accessibility. It is also strengthening the quality of its branches with partners through local support from Swiss Post staff, training for partner staff and customer-friendly infrastructure.

Swiss Post has opened up its premises and advisory services to major service providers from the health insurance, banking and insurance sectors as well as to public authorities, enabling them to maintain their proximity to their customers. By taking this step, Swiss Post is establishing new service centers in all regions of Switzerland with products and services that are relevant to everyday life.
