Logistics Services ensures efficient and secure logistics for letters, printed matter and newspapers, as well as for parcels, goods and merchandise, in Switzerland and internationally. In order to meet the growing needs of the population and the economy and to remain fit for the future, we are expanding these services. We continuously develop specific industry and customer solutions and enter into partnerships and participations.

Logistics Services is Swiss Post’s largest Group unit and, with just over 21,000 employees, makes a substantial contribution to Swiss Post’s success.

Five business units and Operations

Within Logistics Services, business units are responsible for the targeted development of the relevant markets.

• In the domestic letter and parcel market, we are a professional partner for services from the sender to the recipient, providing high-quality courier, express, parcel and effective letter services for companies both at home and abroad, with a focus on the Swiss market.
• In the international letter and parcel market, we provide domestic and international business customers and Swiss private customers with solutions for cross-border dispatch of goods and documents. For this purpose, we provide uncomplicated customs clearance solutions and are continuing to expand our role as a strong service provider in the international e-commerce environment.
• In the advertising and media market, we cover the customer journey with an optimal mix of physical and digital services and provide a multimedia advertising and media portfolio with high reach and relevance, as well as a comprehensive all-round service for distributing physical and digital media from a single source.
• In the goods logistics market, we are a professional partner for high-quality goods transport and future-oriented storage and logistics solutions from a single source, such as land transport, air and sea freight, storage logistics and contract logistics, customs clearance, Innight and express deliveries / Swiss-Express “Innight” and “Day express (TEX)”, installation service and return services.
• Building on our logistics expertise and industry know-how, we also create specific solutions for the healthcare, construction logistics and circular economy.
• And lastly, the Operations unit provides all logistics services (except for goods logistics) – from acceptance of consignments to sorting and domestic delivery.
