Same deal for drivers employed by PostBus operators

The Board of PostBus Switzerland Ltd has decided to apply the same salary-related measures to drivers employed by PostBus operators with staff regulations as for PostBus employees in accordance with the Swiss Post CEC for subsidiaries.

The 1,500 drivers employed by the PostBus operators make an important contribution to the success of PostBus. The Board of PostBus Switzerland Ltd has acknowledged this contribution in its decision to apply the same salary-related measures in 2014 for employees of PostBus operators with staff regulations as for the staff of PostBus Switzerland Ltd.

The salary-related measures for employees of PostBus operators with staff regulations were determined by the PostBus Board and were not negotiated with the unions. Independent of the negotiations with the social partners, the following salary-related measures were agreed for PostBus operators with staff regulations:

  • One-off payment of 700 francs (pro rata depending on employment level, minimum of 100 francs, payment in March 2014)
  • For individual performance-related remuneration, 0.4 percent of the total salary sum will be made available (average of 300 francs per full-time position, payment with July salary)
  • Minimum salary increased to 50,000 francs on 1 January 2014.
