PostBus and unions reach agreement

The negotiating delegations of PostBus Switzerland Ltd, the trade union syndicom and the staff association transfair have reached an agreement on salary-related measures for 2014. All staff will receive a one-off payment of 700 francs. In addition, PostBus will set aside 0.4 percent of the total salary sum for individual performance-related remuneration. The minimum salary will be increased to 50,000 francs on 1 January 2014. PostBus will also extend the allowance for supplementary childcare.

The negotiating delegations of PostBus Switzerland Ltd, the trade union syndicom and the staff association transfair have reached an agreement. All staff subject to the Swiss Post collective employment contract for subsidiaries with a PostBus affiliation agreement will receive a one-off payment of 700 francs. The same applies to auxiliary staff subject to the collective employment contract for new employees and auxiliary staff. The sum is based on the level of employment and amounts to at least 100 francs. The amount will be paid out to staff with their March 2014 salary.

For staff subject to the Swiss Post collective employment contract for subsidiaries with a PostBus affiliation agreement, the minimum salary will be increased to 50,000 francs on 1 January 2014. Swiss Post will set aside 0.4 percent of the total salary sum for individual performance-related remuneration. The amount will be paid out to the staff in question with their July salary. In addition, allowances for supplementary childcare will be extended as follows: PostBus will now grant allowances for children up to the age of 10 instead of only up to the age of four, as was previously the case.
